Milo's 1st day of school and first bus ride 2nd day
These photos are all backwards, but you get the idea. Milo was diagnosed with childhood apraxia which means there is a breakdown between his brain and the articulators of his mouth, tongue, soft pallet etc. So he doesn't speak. He has a speech pathologist that comes twice a week to help him learn and he is making progress. It is fun to hear his voice! I love it. Since he has turned 3 the speech pathologist no longer comes to our house and now he goes to an elementary school near by to help him with his speech. I am amazed at how much more he is attempting to say after being in school for just one week. He came in our room yesterday morning and said."Ma nowing" It was snowing outside and I knew exactly what he was saying. It is a blessing. So the first day of school Bubbe and I took him and then the second day of school he rode the bus. As you can see he was excited. As you can also see I followed the bus!
incognito photo from the car. I saw several mothers looking at me probably wondering why I was sitting in a car with a telescopic lens. Haha, first day on the bus had to do it!
following the bus to school, just he and one other little guy on that big bus. Too cute
Milo's 3rd Birthday!
Milo turned 3! Can't believe how fast it is going. Milo is a sweet boy. He has a smile on his face most of the time and is very loving. He is very sensitive and gets his feelings hurt easily. This is the first party we have had for Milo by himself.Every other year we have combined both Milo's and Alexa's birthday since they are less than a month apart. This year it was all Milo. I decided that I would do an Asian theme instead of the Fiesta have have done the previous 5 years. We had Beef and Broccoli, Kung Pao Chicken, Pad Thai and several sushi rolls, with tuna, crab, spicy tuna and eel. It was fun and much easier than the Mexican food. Much less chopping. It will be fun to see what this year holds for our little man.

Bombarded with photos!!
fun with the chickens! These are backwards so these are when the chickens are about a month old. They have been quite the entertainment. We are excited for eggs mid summer. Hopefully they are not traumatized by all the attention!
One of Alexa's performances. She does this very often, this time there was a mirror in the living room we hadn't hung up yet, so she was focused on watching herself in the mirror. She make up her own moves and her own songs. It is pretty funny. I need to post a video on here so you all can enjoy her creativity. She even did a routine with an umbrella that could have been very dangerous as it included throwing it up in the air and attemping to catch it, unsuccessfully :) too funny
So we are getting settled into our new home and we love it. It is nice to have an office upstairs for the first time in 10 years and a guest room. It is great. We are so thankful. We are now landlords, so we hope that goes well. Of course, the 2nd month in someone is already late on rent, hopefully this is not a sign of what is to happen.
I hope to take some photos here of the house soon. Can't seem to get it all done.
I have to mention a few of Alexa's comments lately, before I forget.
I was driving Alexa home from dance class and was trying to get her to call Ammy and Papa as they were wanting to talk to her. She told me, "no, I'm doing business and that is a matter of fact."
When asking her about another kindergarten teacher she said,"she's complicated..........what's complicated?"
She is too funny. She is also becoming quite the writer. She has a wonderful imagination and it is fun to watch it come out on paper.
